While we have relationships with legal firms and insolvency practitioners our business is that of business turnaround and business rescue. This model allows us to take on medium and large business rescues quickly and cost effectively. We focus on close personal management of all assignments.

Robin has served in the following assignments over 20 years in large and medium sized businesses. Acting Group Chief executive officer at the SABC, Chief Financial Officer at the SABC, Chief Financial Officer at Primedia Ltd, Director of Finance, Information Technology and Distribution at Glaxo Wellcome South Africa, Financial Director at Adcock Ingram Pharmaceuticals, Board Member of MediKredit.

Robin has also served as a trustee on a number of Pension Funds and Medical Aid Boards

Summary:

Robin has a unique blend of skills with formal qualifications in Law and Accounting with vast experience in Finance having served as a senior financial manager in blue chip companies both locally and in International subsidiaries of one of the world largest companies.

In the last 12 years he has focused on the media and entertainment industry having worked in Primedia and at the SABC the National Public Broadcaster.

In his last year Robin at the SABC he was the acting Group Chief Executive of the SABC where he oversaw the development of the Turnaround strategy and was responsible for the approval by various government departments, Trade Unions and the Portfolio Committee on Communications. The plan and implementation saw the operating cost of the organization reduce significantly and the cash position improve significantly. Significant improvement in operational and financial controls also occurred during his tenure.

In the course of his employment he gained significant experience on the Board of one of the most contested spaces in South African political life. He served on 5 consecutive Boards over ten years and was the longest serving director at the SABC when he left in July last year.

Robin brings his vast experience in the governance of large organisations, financial management and general management into Corporate 911.

At the core of the business is a commitment to providing the stakeholders in a distressed business with a clear and accountable process for returning a business to financial stability and long-term health.

We prefer to work with Boards, funders, creditors and executives to provide a solution that can be reliably implemented through a recognized process of holding every level of management accountable to deliver the strategic initiatives that will rescue to undertaking. Once you start business rescue you will not end up with the next available business rescue practitioner, a key risk in proposals from some advisory firms.

Our base is in Centurion where we can service Johannesburg, Sandton, Midrand and Tshwane as well as the East and West Rand.
